Copy-of-Annotated-Bibliography-UPDATEDIn this class we focused extensively on Indigenization of resources in the classroom, in an effort to reflect this learning, each student prepared an Indigenous literature annotated bibliography to showcase a collection of Indigenous children’s books, and explain their relevance for learning. Above is my annotated bibliography, which I am quite proud of, and excited to use these resources in my future classroom.

Grade-1-Mathematics-Resource-Rumble-1In our mathematics course, we learned so much about how to bring math resources into the classroom, for our final project of the year we developed a collection of mathematics resources focused on a specific grade, with descriptions of how they relate to the curriculum and how we would use them in the classroom. I had a lot of fun developing this resource guide, and will likely use it in the future.

Copy-of-Sensory-Sensitive-SpacesOur social studies course in the program focused almost exclusively on social justice issues. To reflect our learning at the end of the course, we each chose a social justice initiative that we would like to see implemented in schools, and developed a pitch to present to the class. Above is my presentation on Sensory Sensitive Spaces.

Polished-Entry-1-1 Polished-Entry-2-1Throughout this course, the instructor made connections to the Circle of Courage. She also asked us to make our own connections in the form of a journal, at the end of the class we took a few of those journal entries and polished them to reflect our thoughts. Here are 2 of my polished journal entries on connections between course content and the Circle of Courage.
